"Instructor" demonstrating shooting stance and grip for a 44 mag revolver. First, he turns towards the students, almost sweeping them with muzzle, one student ducks out of the way.
He then starts to demonstrate single action shooting by cocking the hammer, he turns toward the line with the gun pointed up in the air and pulls the trigger, sending a round into the ceiling. One student asks, did you mean to to do that? and the "instructor" says yeah. It was obvious that he had no intention of firing the gun in that position, but he tried to pass it off as intentional. Quite a doofus.

Oh good Lord! What an idiot!

My Model 29 has about a 1.5 lb let off on SA, from the factory. I never manually cock it until I'm already aiming down range.......not just pointing down range.

I agree that he is not handling the pistol properly, including his first turn with the handgun where the observer/student ducks out of the way. Then the ND is strike two. No need for a third strike.

However, the video ends right after he answers 'Yeah', then goes and lays the gun down on the bench. Would have liked to have seen if he continues to ignore it, or actually states he screwed up and explains it.

My guess due to his poor handling techniques is he doesn't own up to the mistake(s), even though the guys watching definitely know it was.
It looks like the front site bit him a little, he seems to be licking his lips a little as he walks forward. But the best is the little hop and steps he takes, I think the video ended abruptly because he had to change his wardrobe.
