Ever see this?

Post by ktusc »

I just logged in for the first time today to check my status and this is what I encountered

"The data you have submitted does not match what is in our records. Please verify the data submitted is correct. If you still cannot proceed, please contact DPS at 1-800-224-5744 or email chl@txdps.state.tx.us for more information."

After verifying the information and several attempts to login, no change.

I dont want to bother them just yet. I feel like I am stalking the website.

Just wondering if anyone has ever had the same problem?

The database is down per the CHL Division. They suggest trying back later today.

ktusc,
I spoke with a great customer service rep at DPS just a few minutes ago and asked if there was trouble. He affirmed that the website was down but offered to check my status. He did not know when the website would be back up however. I must have overloaded the database with my constant status checks. I hope that they don't slow the processing by answering a large volume of calls concerning the website. Guess that we'll just have to hang in there. Patient people are boring.

I don't know if you're kidding. It's impossible to do that by hand. Web sites are hit all the time by hackers using robotic software, and the software has to be able to withstand that.

Thanks! I waited on hold for the "next available representative" for about 15 minutes and couldn't take it.

So, I will check after lunch. I'm hoping my status changes soon.

Yep. I am seeing the same thing. They must hate each and every one of us. :)
