So after obsessing and watching the website for what seemed like forever my status changed on Monday to Application Completed - license issued or certificate active.

So thinking Houston is not too far from Austin I started checking the mail box on Wednesday

You guessed it...here it is Friday and still no plastic in hand :???:

Maybe tomorrow

Kyle,

Glad you received your plastic. Now get out of this room and don't ever come back.

sbb,

That's the problem. It was completed on Monday and as of now I still do not have my plastic in hand

I guess I will be pacing and watching for the postal carrier all day. Then hopefully I will get to take my Wally Walk soon.

Sorry,

I did not pay close enough attention to your post. With that said, when you get your plastic, get out of this room and don't come back. Here's hoping that the USPS delivers on a timely basis. Again, congratulations.

You make me sick!!!!! lol I have been waiting since July 3rd. How in the heck could you have errors, send them back, and still be out of here before me? I want the clerk who did your license processing.

LOL...sorry

In my defense the error wasn't really an error. For the past 5 year residence I have lived where I am currently for a little over 4 years and the previous address for 12 years. When I filled out the form I just put the year I moved into the first residence 16+ years ago but left the month blank so they sent it back

So I think they started processing the background check when I first sent it in and finished when I sent the residence form back(the same day I received it). Also I have lived in Harris county since before I could drive so I am sure my background check went fairly smoothly.
