Also has a firearm retaliated conviction in DC.
Salute to him being a veteran

Ah, Jefferson said "the government that governs LEAST governs BEST". That's not the same as "governs not"......If elected president in 2020, Kokesh has said his goal is to abolish the federal government.
No they cannot. They may be able to "force you" to put the camera down but recording is completely legal. See this 5th circuit ruling from just last year: https://www.techdirt.com/articles/20170 ... ment.shtmlRPBrown wrote:My question about the story is, can they force you to turn off a camera if you are recording the stop?
He’s not a libertarian, he’s an anarchist......which is the same thing as a publicity hound.....JustSomeOldGuy wrote:Ah, Jefferson said "the government that governs LEAST governs BEST". Is this guy a fruitcake, or just a publicity hound?
that description crossed my mind. Makes for a confusing campaign slogan, though. "If elected, I will eliminate my job, and WILL NOT collect unemployment or a pension!"The Annoyed Man wrote:He’s not a libertarian, he’s an anarchist......which is the same thing as a publicity hound.....JustSomeOldGuy wrote:Ah, Jefferson said "the government that governs LEAST governs BEST". I didn’t.......until now. Thanks for the warning.rotor wrote:Really stupid guy. Everyone in North Texas knows Decatur is a speed trap.
Abolishing the federal government might be a little much, but we could definitely cut 90% of the federal government, IMHO.JustSomeOldGuy wrote:Ah, Jefferson said "the government that governs LEAST governs BEST". Decatur* was a speed trap in 1972** and nothing has changed. The Annoyed Man wrote:I didn’t.......until now. Thanks for the warning.rotor wrote:Really stupid guy. Everyone in North Texas knows Decatur is a speed trap.
I trust you. Did you try making that face of yours at the arresting officer or the judge? Sometimes a good belly laugh is a way to get out of trouble.Pawpaw wrote:Decatur* was a speed trap in 1972** and nothing has changed. The Annoyed Man wrote:I didn’t.......until now. * = Bowie was also a speed trap, at least until they rebuilt 287 so it bypassed the center of town.
** = Don't even bother asking how I know... just trust me.

Basically, all we need is someone to negotiate treaties with foreign powers for the benefit of the states. They could also mitigate disputes between states on things like interstate commerce, coordination of military forces / border patrol (equipment and manpower supplied and controlled by the states, of course). But most all functions could be managed primarily by the states.
We could definitely get rid of things like the department of Education, EPA, ATF, IRS (states could provide funding for the extremely limited federal government functions), and of course the Democratic party's brownshirts, aka the FBI and the DOJ.
