Plastic Arrived Today

The plain white envelope arrived in the box today, thanks to the great folks at the USPS. Will have to delay the Wally Walk until my housefull of relatives depart after this weekend -- here to celebrate my wife and my 41st wedding anniversary. But, since my wife lives in an extended care facility that is 30.06 posted, can't carry my P2000 much this weekend. So, the real CHL experience will begin next week. God bless all of you who sat with me in the "Waiting Room."

For comparison purposes, here is my time line:

CHL App Sent to DPS: 16JUL07
DPS Received CHL App: 17JUL07
DPS Cashed Check: 24JUL07
PIN Received: 3AUG07
DPS "Processing App": 4AUG07
DPS "App Completed": 21AUG07
CHL In-Hand: 24AUG07

I took my CHL at Bullet Hole a few years back. I still shoot there. Good buncha folks there.

Congrats!! I sent my APP 10 days after yours. Would be interesting to see if I get it soon as well. I'm noticing the turn around times are pretty good!!
