I thought all walmarts have armed guards nowadays?

I don't think I've ever seen one in the two closest Walmarts. Although I don't spend much, if any, time in them these days.

At the three Walmarts I wander thru, they have security roving the parking lot; I have seen uniformed security IN the store only a few times. Didn't notice if they were armed or not.

I've never seen any security in any of the Wal Marts I frequent (Which is 4 of them). however I do regularly see local PD parked in the fire lanes.
