IL: School resource officer stops 19 year old with gun

Another win for the good-guy-with-a-gun. A teenager armed with a gun walked onto his high school campus today and was confronted by the school’s armed resource officer. When the boy opened fire on the officer, the officer took him down. There were no other injuries. The shooting, which began just after 8:00 a.m. this morning, was over as quickly as it began.

Sounds like they could teach the deputies in Broward County a thing or 2.

Of course... Positive news about an officer stopping someone with a gun at a school is not the type of news the media wants you to hear. It goes against the objective of gun control.

I decided to nose around on CNN's page, but most of their front page was stuff about Stormy Daniels. I couldn't find a title that referenced the shooting. Guess they have "more important" things to report on.
