Palmetto State Armory has S%W 15-22 Sport model for $299.99 w/ free shipping. I have ordered from them and they don't collect sale tax to ship to Texas. I haven't checked any other vendors to see if they are cheaper than PSA, but this is the lowest price I've seen in quite some time.

Those are good guns.. My boys each have had theirs for about a year and a whole lot of rounds shot through them with no issues... And we paid a whole lot more than $299.99 for them

It's annoying we have to file a tax form with Texas if the seller doesn't collect sales tax but maybe it's worth the hassle to get a S&W 15-22 for $350.

$299.99 firearm plus $25± TX tax plus $25± FFL fee (unless somebody knows a cheaper FFL in Houston)

I just bought a Mossberg Shockwave from them. My FFL charges $15 for LTC holders (Pasadena Gun Center). Palmetto has links for local FFL's.
