Salon wants to ban bolt-action rifles

In my neck of the woods, a "Salon" is a place where women go to get their hair cut. I guess I'll have to admit that I am ignorant (uneducated) on what or who "Salon" is in current day culture. I won't say "modern" day culture, because the word modern tends to mean better and more advanced. But much of our culture now days is not more advanced, just more inane and ignorant.

European Renaissance era terminology. Originally, a place you went to talk/discuss. If that don't describe the average (especially southern) beauty parlor, I don't know what does.

They are now using ex military people to bolster their position!

An officer doesn't get the boot with a general discharge under less than honorable conditions absent some serious offenses. Such discharges are only given when the Army is trying to cover it's own ass and avoid public embarrassment.

If this guy wants to make himself a public figure he should be smart enough to know that it's all going to come out.

Smartest thing he could do is to shut up and crawl back into his hole.
