I do a modest amount of gunsmithing in my spare time and was thinking it might be fun to get more training. SDI was at the NRA Personal Protection Expo and a buddy of mine is in their program and likes it, but SDI isn't cheap and I wanted to see what else is out there and found this:

Costs vary considerably, but what was amazing is that one of the programs was only $559! There goes all my spare time!

Any new informationi learned expecially about firearm is always a good thing, I may check this out myself. As long as its not a basic course and has a little more in depth training. Might be worth signing up for, thanks.

I think insurance and liability are the biggest detractors to doing gunsmith work. FYI here are the 4 NRA approved programs:
