Yippee!! The wait is OVER!
Yippee! the renewal is officially 'in processing' on the website. It's only about 3 wks since I mailed it. They must be moving fast this fall.

I saw your post and just checked the website for mine (new app). Didn't think the DPS worked on weekends, but as of today mine is active as well! 
I haven't been this excited since my girl told me she loved me. Hurry up USPS!!!

Got it!
Well the USPS was kind today on Halloween to deliver mynew plastic to me!
My class was taken on Sept 16, I fingerprinted the next day, and mailed it all 1-2 days after that--say on the 20th for rough info. I got my renewed license today, 10/31/07, so 5-6wks total turnaround. I had no problems with my packet and no restarts on my clock.
