There's a lot of language in that video. She talks like she belongs on an episode of Jerry Springer.

She looks the part too.

What were they arresting her for? I missed it. Her choice of wardrobe?
But seriously, how stupid are people to pull a gun on LEOs? Do they not understand what would happen next?
Glad the innocent bystander did not get hit, he was right behind her when one officer opened fire at her. Either the officer is a great shot or he just got lucky and missed him too. It could have been ugly.
She had a small amount of drugs and a scale (drug paraphernalia) I’m not sure why, when she reportedly fired a gun, they did not perform a pat down. She had her gun hidden under the cloth tucked into her waist band. A pat down would have found it much sooner, and may have prevented the shooting altogether. Also the one officer kept a grip on his notepad, even after she drew her gun.

I'm wondering why they searched her bag/pack, found cartridges, but ignored the camo thing hanging on her waist that looked suspiciously like a holster? Call me confused? :headscratch

A couple of observations:

1. The bystander in the direction she was fleeing nearly got hit by police gunfire!
2. That's not a muffin top, that's a whole loaf of bread!

Since the video started at midpoint in the stop, I assumed they had already checked /patted down for weapons. The LEO asked:

"you have Bullets... where's the gun? that's big, .357 Mag." then seemingly dropped the line of questioning and goes to "she's got weed,. scales" etc. :confused5

If she was arrested, wouldn't she be released with no bond?

I mean the real crime here is the way she is dressed. Is she proud of that extra skin?

Well, that was about the wrong time to pull out the revolver.
Not even Chuck Norris can do that.

I am not a police officer so cannot pass judgment but I have a question---shouldn't the responding officers have immediately put her in cuffs and done a pat-down for their own safety especially getting a call about a "woman with a gun?" They can always remove the cuffs after a pat-down if she is "clean."

Appreciate comments from members who are police officers.

As a former LEO, that was my question also. That was SOP when I was on the job.

I’d say maybe they have to walk on eggshells considering the anti police climate, especially with a woman?

That was not our policy nor my procedure. As an officer, you have to talk to a lot of people and putting cuffs on everyone you interview would not go over well. I would have patted her down first, since it was a "woman with a gun call," but I would not have put her in cuffs.

Chas.
