No need to worry about that. Stuff like this never happens so one should never sign a bill of sale or anything. The police will just take your word and move along. Having a Bill of Sale is like a gun registry remember (ends sarcasm).

Dear OP... As you can see lots of opinion here on BOS... I looked at most of them and didn't see anywhere .esq at the end of any posts... Short version, do what feels right to you....
