Red Dots on 1911’s

Okay I am a huge fan of Trijicon RMR. On my Glock 43X I even have a Trijicon RMRcc. It works like a top.

Well I am thinking of my Wilson Combat EDC X9. On a 1911 would the RMR being a larger footprint not fit as well as the RMRcc?

I had a Girsan 45 with a red dot on it. Seemed to work out well enough. I sold it only because I’m just not a fan of the 45 caliber
