M14 sling question

Post by Teamless »

A friend of mine has a son in his freshman year at the Citadel

He was told he needs to get a sling for it

I know nothing about slings -

He said he needs a 2-point connector

Suggestions (with link please so I don’t screw it up)

Thank you in advance

I have the quick adjust version from Redi-Mag and like it. No experience with any others.

I assume it's used for drill. Check Ammo Garand. Down for maintenance at the moment or I'd give a better link.

I would guess that you need more information for it. Since it is a military school, they probably have some uniform specification, at least the color and material. This is the Amazon search for slings to fit that rifle: https://www.amazon.com/m1a-sling/s?k=m1a+sling

Note: the M1A is the Springfield Armory civilian version of the M14. The difference being it is not convertible to selective fire.
