Sounds like the 30 Super Carry wants to replace the 380 ACP

Ammoseek shows zero 30 Super Carry Ammo in stock. Not sure what S&W is thinking.

Couldn’t find it on ammoseek, but other sites have it. Almost $2.00 per round for SD rounds. Yikes.

Seems more likely to be pushed as an alternative to 9mm. All the guns that have been announced so far are 9mm sized. I've read that it is too high pressure and would be even less fun to shoot than .380 in a LCP sized gun.

Yeah, high pressure tends to be a problem for a lot of people. .380 ACP ammo was already expensive... 30 Super Carry could in no way ever compete with 9mm on price.

may become as popular as .41AE 41 Action Express,( lost out to .40 S&W)

i liked Super VHS over Betamax , 8-tracks over cassettes ...
yesterday i was looking at pre-1899 guns ... and wondering where you'd find, for example ... a lot of .31 caliber ammo etc

Why does this feel like .38 Super and it's derivatives all over again....
Might become the new 'major nine' of USPSA competition. Other than that, wouldn't be surprised if it just fades away....

Nyet comrade, that would be the superior 9mm Makarov.
Gun control is like stopping drunk driving by making it harder for sober people to drive.
