Still "processing", got my plastic

Post by 78641 »

This seems strange. Here we are on day 72, DPS website says I'm still "processing" (just checked), and the friendly mail carrier just handed me my plastic.

Go figure

I'd say I'm off for the Wally Walk, but I'm off to sit in a deer blind, instead. Armed to the teeth, though!

As long as this took, I'd better get started on the renewal right away!

They are a bit slow to update their "Status Tracking" portion of their Site. They manage to take the money pretty quickly though........

The Mail Room is probably the slowest (and the one that the "Tracking Updates" seem to be the "most wanted").

I sent my renewal (received by them on Nov 13th) and mine still shows "Packet sent to applicant". Granted it has only been 3 days since they received it (USPS Delivery Confirmation), I still think that there should be someone there punching in receipts to their "Tracking updates" as they actually come through the door.

It's a business.......that's the truth of it. We are paying for a service that we should really not have to obtain (in my opinion). We are also paying the employees there (through our taxes) and you would think that they should have enough money to have the necessary employees to manage the system correctly and efficiently.....

They have to want to or care to be efficient first before they will be efficient.
