Handgun license
So Is a deposition date the same as a verdict date/sentence date for my DWI? My deposition date was 05/03/13 my sentence date was 07/10/14 so when can I reapply for my license?

Welcome to the forum Jacob.
Those two are not the same. Also, and I'm not 100% positive on this, but I think your eligibility will depend on the date of completion of your sentence, not just your date of sentencing.

I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Both dates are more than 10 years ago and even the sentence would have to be over 10 years ago by 7/10/25 unless it was a felony DWI in which case it would be impossible to get a LTC. 5 years is the period after a misdemeanor during which one is ineligible.C-dub wrote: Fri Oct 26, 2018 6:02 pm Welcome to the forum Jacob.
