Same totalitarian steps with a different initial orientation. I hate watching history rhyme with itself. How many hundreds of thousands is the UK going to put into gulags for this cycle of history? Any guesses?
I'd go with 700,000 when its all said and done, and another 40 year cycle for any chance of freedom.

There was a comment about the 250 nukes Great Britain controls and what happens when they are no longer under the control of like minded individuals.

Man in UK sentenced to 3 years in prison for possessing the recipe for
Gunpowder.
If I remember it’s 75% Saltpeter 15% sulfur and 10% carbon.
I’ll check my work on Google, see if it’s there. Wrong switch sulfur and carbon. It is actually on Google AI.
I have no idea how you get saltpeter or what it even is.
Potassium nitrate. Still clueless what that is.

I got mine through a drug store about 3 decades ago when I was making black powder model rockets. It used to quite common on farms. It was also rumored to being slipped to soldiers in boot camp to reduce libido. I never knew it that was true.philip964 wrote: Tue Nov 04, 2025 6:02 pm https://bearingarms.com/tomknighton/202 ... e-n1230487

Re: United Kingdom: the police state
I don't know if the rumor was true or not, but I remember the welcome from our battalion commander in basic training at Ft. Jackson in 1975. As part of his welcome speech he said that he could prove the rumor wasn't true because he ate in the mess hall with us and still had "good relations" with his wife.BigGuy wrote: Tue Nov 04, 2025 6:44 pmI got mine through a drug store about 3 decades ago when I was making black powder model rockets. Amazing the things you hear in basic that stick out in your mind later with simple reminders.

Colin Noir picked up the story. Pix of the illegal photo.

I know that is bad enough.
But now on top of demanding Digital IDs for everyone they are now talking over going further towards a "'Thought Police" state. In the 50+ years I lived in UK I would never have believed this could happen.

But when you put an African Immigrant in charge of your justice system I suppose you should not be surprised.

We in the USA had an African immigrant in the oval office for 8 years. Look where it's got us.Noggin wrote: Sun Nov 30, 2025 7:39 pm I know that is bad enough.

Re: United Kingdom: the police state
I know but pause and think how much worse it could have been without a little thing called The Constitution. Over there governments pretty much make it up as they go along. Trial by Jury in English Law actually predates Magna Carta it goes back a thousand years to Saxon England. Now the Woke Lefties have decided you can only have a jury for those crimes that They consider deserve one (you can be sure free speech "offenses" will not be included). I really am grateful that I am now a US Citizen, free to tell Queer Starmer where to shove it. I guess it's time to change my Avatar.wheelgun1958 wrote: Mon Dec 01, 2025 10:26 pmWe in the USA had an African immigrant in the oval office for 8 years.
