I have empirical evidence...

Don't feel bad, I got a speeding ticket 3 days before Christmas last year despite having a CHL.  The officer did thank me for showing him my CHL though.

yeah, i tested the theory this morning....
15 over and a CHL is apparently still a ticket.. thanks Grand Prairie PD :)
but in all honesty it wasn't speeding to go faster, i was avoiding another car and happened to accelerate a LOT more than i thought i did... at least he was polite and quick about it. None of that... "do you know why i stopped you?" nonsense.
