Another spousal homicide

Post by seamusTX »

Tualatin, Clark County, Wash., Dec. 18 -- A decorated Iraq veteran and candidate for a deputy sheriff training program reportedly shot and killed his wife while practicing unholstering in their apartment. One shot from a 45-caliber H & K semiautomatic pistol.

Link here.

There seems to be an epidemic of these incidents.

"According to police Capt. Jeff Groth, Ryan Osbrink had been practicing drawing his gun from a holster. Kimberly walked into the room and Ryan accidentally fired the gun, Groth said."

1. why was he practicing with a loaded gun?

2. if he was practicing before why did it go off just as she walked into the room?

Either that is a really bad coincidence or something is afoul

I practice drawing from a holster in my home as well...but I dont practice with a loaded weapon, nor do I point it at my lovely wife.

His story seems pretty fishy to me.

I bet he does not see his wife as "lovely."
Please help the wounded store owner who fought off 3 robbers. He doesn't have medical insurance.

I read about this story on M&P Pistol forums, what an aweful tragedy. I dont know if I could live with myself after something like that.
