Another dog attack

Post by seamusTX »

Memphis, January 4 -- Police were investigating a theft when the resident of a home released a dog described as a "pit-bull" . The dog attacked the officers. One of the officers fired three shots, one of which penetrated his own foot. "Police were still investigating Friday whether the dog had been shot."

I guess a foot pursuit after the dog was out of the question. :fire I hate to say it but ,when you panic the adrenaline surge creates tunnelvision and you can in your haste to stop the threat, fire before you even have a sight picture or realize where your weapons pointing. That's why it's important to practice the basics as often as possible, even going through the movements with an unloaded firearm, the chances are in a high stress situation your training will take over.I also hate to say it but if a person can shoot himself in the foot ,it could of been an innocent bystander etc. bullets ricochet
It is said that if you line up all the cars in the world end-to-end, someone would be stupid enough to try to pass them
