That's awesome! Congrats on your new blaster. Take off work early and come shoot IDPA with us in Fort Worth Thursday.

I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961

Congrats. That's a sharp looking new pistol. I bet it shoots great. Let me know when you want to meet at the range ;-)

:smash: The "official" verdict is that it's ammo related...........duh. After speaking with the gunsmith he said it looked like a case failure which could have been caused by either overpressure (double charge) or an actual structural failure of the case itself. Apparently they didn't get too much into it after deciding it was ammo related. I personally think it was a bad case only because I know how I loaded them. Either way, I did learn allot of info on reloading because I must have read a dozen books afterward!!!! I just loaded up about 300 rounds for the match on Sunday. Looking forward to getting some range time again.........see you all at the Range then. :woohoo
