I've been using them in .45 ACP and .223 they seem to work just fine. The price is right.

The IDPA group at our club did a group buy last year. We bought the Wolf primers for about $17.00 a thousand in 5000 lots plus shipping and hazmat. They worked out to about $18.00 a thousand in the quantity we bought. The hazmat shipping charges really kick the price up unless you can spread it out among several folks.

Sounds good so far, what are they constructed of? Brass? Similar to CCI?

Thanks for the info.

CCI and Federal and probably others package OEM primers that are about 10% less than consumer packaged primers.

But you have to have a class 06 (ammunition manufacturer) or 07 (firearms manufacturer) license to buy them. For instance, I can get CCI300 Large Pistol dealer priced for $108.99/5000. A class 6 or 7 dealer could buy the same primer in OEM packaging for $98.99.

This same supplier offers the Wolf large pistol dealer priced for $83.99.
