I am still pre-plastic and, taking the advice of many on this board to wear the weapon and gear around the house to get used to it, I went out into the front yard carrying (concealed) to unload some groceries from the car....never setting foot off of the property.
Was that legal? Can I carry to the edge of my platted lot in the middle of town?

The charge of "unlawfully carrying a weapon" doesn't apply on property you own or control.
