Where can I handle them?
With the price of ammo continuing to rise I am exploring the idea of reloading. Is there anywhere in the Houston area where I can actually see and handle more than one brand of reloading press? I know that the net is a great tool for research but nothing beats first hand inspection. Thanks in advance.

Cabelas and Bass PRo are the only two places I can think of where you can see/handle more than one make of press. However, from personal experience, RCBS & Dillon are excellent. Dillon is pricey, but worth it ultimately.

Bass Pro in Pearland doesnt carry reloding supplies. I asked them about it, and the sales guy gave me a suggestion card to fill out.

Just buy a Dillon and be done with it. You won't be dissatisfied and they have a life time no bull guarantee.
I have a Square Deal B in 9mm/.45. It's great for casual reloading. If you want to go big, they have big

Re: Where can I handle them?
There was discussion, in the past, of having people bring presses and reloading stuff to the annual Texas CHL Forum Day gathering. The idea was to provide some introduction and instruction to prospective reloaders. This would be a good place to see different presses, if it were implemented.
Many consider Dillon tops. I have presses from RCBS, Dillon, and Lee. You will always use whatever press you start with, and you will probably add equipment as your experience grows and your shooting activities diversify.
Didn't answer your question, did I? If you are near Houston, you are welcome to drop by to look at my presses. Other Forum members would probably make the same offer.

Andrew
Edit: I see your location is listed as Houston. I am west of the city, past Rosenberg.
