Okay - I'm now officially in the waiting room. I finished the class on the 2nd. My packet was sent certified mail and was received on April 7th. I guess now I just have to wait a long, long 2 months or so. My instructor told us 60 days for the license to be processed, but I've seen up to 90 days here. Hopefully it will be closer to what my instructor said...
April 2008 - Packet received by DPS
August 2008 - Plastic in hand!
April 2013 - Renewal packet submitted

Welcome to the longest 60-90 days of your life!

Good to have you here....

DPS has been inconsistent on how long it takes. For some it took 60 days just for their PIN....others have come out with their "Plastic" and wally walk in 60 days...

I had my PIN in 24 days....(I thought that was fantastic) However, I wish I had never received my PIN....I check everyday....several times a day....(It's better not to know!)....lol
