I need a Prayer

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

I need a Prayer

Post by Dan20703 »

I need a prayer because I was just laid off from my job and have a family to support.
If you know of anyone in the Houston area in need of an Environmental Project Manager/Construction Manager send me a PM.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and help.

Me too. I am 58 now & I dont think I would even know how to go about looking for one if I had to.

Lord, Dan's signature line says to me that he is one of yours. Encourage his faith to be strong as David in the face of this giant Dan & family are facing now. I will ask you to provide for him as you did the widow of Zareptha, her son & Elijah. Just enough daily until it rains.
In Jesus Name.
AMEN

I've been in the same situation, and understand the uncertainty that it can bring. Keep in mind that God is in control, so put your trust in Him. We will be praying for you to find a job quickly.

I was unemployed for almost 7 months, and finally got a job in January. Thanks to everyones support, I made it through; you will too.

The new job I have is better than many jobs i've had in the past, and I can say that even with the pay cut I had to take; I'm far happier now.

G-d rarely gives us more than we can handle, and usually we're better off if we accept He knows what He's doing.

I thank you all for your kind support.
I'm going to print this prayer and hang it on the wall as a reminder while I hunt for a new job.
Thanks longtooth

I've got a second interview on Tuesday that may result in a great job. Made it through the first stage and now I'm going to the corporate office to talk to the upper management.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
