I want to thank you all for your tremendous help via prayers to the big guy upstairs!
I started a new job this week and while its not as close as the previous job (20 minutes vs. 60 minutes) I get a vehicle allowance and a gas card. With prices of fuel now, that is a huge benefit. Pay is about the same too.

Sixty minutes from Katy must mean you're working about 12 miles eastbound on I-10.

LOL! It's about 25 miles to the northeast. No highway travel so it's not too speedy. I've gotten used to it already by adjusting my route and the time I leave. Takes about 45 minutes now.
