Chas, How much will the class cost? How long will it take? Will there be a Sat. or Sun. daytime class?

Thanks, Chas.

I have received my Utah CFP credentials and I've order the required stamp. The stamp should ship sometime this week, so I can schedule a class in the Houston area. You should go the Utah BCI website and download the application forum. Here is the information website that gives the eligibility requirements, fees, etc. and here is the actual Utah CFP Application. I'll print a few to have at the class in case people forget. You must have this form at the class, because Utah instructors have to stamp your application, instead of issuing a training certificate like Texas' TR-100. (This is a lot better way to do it!)

This is a four hour class and it does not have any range qualification. I would like to run the first class on Friday, May 23rd from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm. It probably will be at PSC, but if not it will be at a location in the Friendswood area.

The second class in the Houston area will be Saturday, May 31st from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm also at PSC or elsewhere in the Friendswood area.

The cost will be $70 and includes photos, notary signature and fingerprints.

Send an email to me at Charles@TexasShooting.com if you would to be in either class.

Chas.

Any idea when you might have an Austin class scheduled? From the comments, it looks like there's plenty of Austin-area folks interested in the class. I know I'd like to be able to carry in Las Vegas later this year.

Thanks Chas!

This is just a reminder that my first Utah CFP class will be this Friday evening from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm at PSC. I only have three people who sent me emails to register, so please let me know by email ASAP if you want to take this class. Charles@TexasShooting.com

Thanks,
Chas.

We're in the process of getting granddaughter moved to Fort Worth this weekend, so will have to wait for the next go-round.

I am also interested in an Austin (or better yet!) San Antonio class. Otherwise I'm very interested in Houston classes later this year - I would attend the sessions this week and next, but am tied up with commitments.

Thanks Mr. Cotton for providing the classes!

I'll bring food and refreshments to the class on the 31st.

IMHO, drive to Houston.

Wow, are you serious? Time to PM llwatson for his class schedule. I'm planning on going to Vegas soon, so I need that Nevada reciprocity.
