80 days and still packet mailed to applicant

Post by wyatt »

its day 80 and still packet mailed to applicant. Anyone else in the same boat? Seems like a long time to not even be processing yet.

I'd definately call.

I hope you mailed your packet certified mail; you're WAY over the allotted time.

As my sig line reads, I'm at day 95. Just waiting on the local and FBI checks a nice lady who is working on my file at CHL HQ informed me. She even gave me her direct dial number in case I need to call her again. :tiphat: I don't plan on calling her again unless I go over 120 days. I thought it was a nice gesture though. I also told her that all of them were doing a great job and are appreciated! Hey, a little kindness goes along way! :mrgreen:

Thanks, I called at the 60 day point and they told me that they had received the packet. Just not sure why I was not processing yet. Oh well I will wait some more. Thanks for the input.

I was in the same boat. Up until day 90 it said "Packet mailed". On day 90 it miraculously changes to "Processing application". Hang in there.

It seems like there are going to be some records set. Does anyone know what the record for a perfect application is?

Mrs. Oldgringo's license, submitted 12/18/2007, took some 160 days :banghead: portal to portal after:
  • three (3) addtional sets of fingerprints,
    hard copy letter to Ms. Jan Coffey,
    e-mails to the Gov, Lt. Gov, our State Senator,
    and our Representative;
before being miraculously approved, very shortly, after the letter and the e-mails hit their respective targets.

Can anybody top 160 days? :txflag:

The clock doesn't start until they have a complete application. How long did it take after she sent the FAST fingerprints?
