Texas concho on holster

Post by ntexaschl »

Hi Forum,
I'm in the market for a holster, and, I'm looking at Tucker Gunleather. I'm kinda thinking about having a Texas concho added to the holster. I have a concern, though. General consensus is not favorable relative to CHL badges. Same true for a Texas concho on a holster?

Thanks for all feedback

Seems to me that no one would see your holster in public, if you use it for concealed carry. So no one would see the concho either.

Not the same. I have a couple of Tucker HF1s for my 1911s. One has the Concho. It in no way resembles a badge. If you choose his they are some of the best. Your wait will be 6-7months. My last one from him was 7months to the day. Worth the wait.

Texas concho on Tuckers HF1. Does not resemble a badge at all. This is the only BBQ holster I have ever been able to own & probably the only one I ever will. (still could not afford the matching belt) I like the holster & the one I carry Bear in (SA 1911-A1) is a Tucker HF1 also. Plain & no tooling just the work horse. THey are excellent holsters. Long wait. Worth it.
