Ammo Dealers/I need 20K 9mm FMJ
Im looking to stockpile about 20k rounds/20 cases of 9mm FMJ due to the ever increasing cost of ammo. I contacted ammoman awhile back and his "deal" on 20k wasnt really all that good. Anyone have any idea on who else i can try. Im really interested in Blazer aluminum, as this is the ammo in which I have become acquainted with. Im gonna try Natchez tomorrow and see what they can do.

Is reloading not an option?

I wish, but no. Just sold my bike so I have a little stash to invest in ammo. I figure it's not gonna get any cheaper, so it will be a good investment.

I've been in the same exact boat as you and have decided to stock up before the prices go even higher. The very best deal I've been able to find surprised me: Wal-Mart.
Wal-Mart currently has their Winchester "White Box" 9mm for $11.84 per 100. That comes to $118.40 per thousand, which is the best price for non-wolf/non-reloaded ammo available anywhere (as far as I can tell). Winchester is good ammo. Their .45acp is also the best price I've found ($30/100).
Don't try buying this at any Wal-Marts around the Tyler area, as I've bought all of them out. Next week, after they restock, I'll be buying them all up as well.

My bad. It was $18.42 per 100 (I'm a little dyslexic). Anyway, it's still the best price I found, I just quoted the numbers wrong.drw wrote:Wal-Mart currently has their Winchester "White Box" 9mm for $11.84 per 100.

The Wal-Mart price on 230 gr FMJ .45 250 round box was very good too.
I was thinking that for 20K you might be able to just buy as a wholesaler/dealer?
BTW, I think it is a good idea and were my money not so tight right now, I would do this too. Ammo is pretty much full value resale if you get it cheap and keep it like new. If it goes up you make a profit if you ever need to sell due to cash flow. And it is a lot easier to store and transport than gasoline or diesel.

Their price ($275 for 1,200 rounds) is not as good as Wal-Mart. 1,200 rounds from Wal-Mart would be $220.80 (a savings of $54.20)Jacob Staff wrote:http://www.ammo-connection.com/win_9mm.html

You might check with Ammunition To Go. They run out of Brenham, and do in-person purchases if you're nearby. You might want to call them, as they might be able to make you a deal for 20K rounds.
Here's their online catalog for 9mm FMJ:

You may want to glance at gun-deals.com for vendors and an idea of pricing: http://gun-deals.com/ammo.php?caliber=9mm%20%20(9x19). Clicking on an item will show additional details, including the pricing history, if any, of that specific item from that vendor. You can sort on the different columns by clicking on the column title.
On a quantity buy you'll want to look at not only the cost-per-round, but the per-round "surcharge" of sales tax and/or shipping.

Georgia Arms sells 1000rds of 9mm 115 FMJ for $185.00 in a .50 cal ammo can.
It would be worthwhile to ask them to make a better deal on 20,000rds.

Called ammunitiontogo today. Their website depicts S&B 9mm 115 grain ammo for 199.99 per case. I told them I wanted 30 cases and was looking for a volume discount. Guess what my discount was on 30k rounds of ammo.......yep, you guessed it 199.99 per case. My search continues.
