I have a question...
Ok so I know some say it doesn't matter what the status says when you check the DPS website with a PIN etc., but just to entertain me does anyone know what order they use the terms (theoretically). I know it takes a whole lot of time for all of us but if for instance your status says "Processing Application" like mine does, then does that mean they are just waiting to put all the info into the computer and Ta-Da its done? Or does that mean its probably at the FBI getting my backroung check or what ???

06 April 08: Class completed.
07 April 08: Paperwork sent.
11 April 08: Packet opened/ check cashed by DPS.

Re: I have a question...
My understanding is there is three phases:
1)Packet mailed to applicant(if you used the Online application)
2)Processing application-Which means they have input your info into the system, but they havent verified your prints or pictures or completed your Background check. Basic, this just means,"we have your application here somewhere"
3)Application completed-Golden words......Your application is complete, should be in your hands soon.
