Last year, IDPA held their first postal match. It consisted of four scenarios that were made available to every IDPA club in the world. Every club was encouraged to set up the match exactly the way it was presented in the description. Then all the score were sent into a centeral location for consolidation. Over 900 shooters participated from around the world.
The event was so successful that it is being done again this year. It looks like there will be two or three times the participation this year.
Tomorrow, Thunder Tactical Shooters will host a postal match at Thunder Gun Range in Conroe. The match begins at 9:00 a.m. If you have an IDPA membership number and would like to get in on the fun, come on out. As it is just four scenarios, the match should be over in 2 hours.

Golden Triangle shot the Postal Match on June 7, the stages are well thought out and challenging.

Re: IDPA Postal Match
Cross Timbers shot the POstal Match on 6/28. It was a lot of fun and the stages were flexible in that there were several ways to shoot each one. The shooter has to decide which way would be fastest for him/her. I like choices.
I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961
