I hate cancer!

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

I hate cancer!

Post by longhorn_92 »

Last week, a friend of mine had a tumor removed that was determined to be Stage 4 cancer. The doctors believe that they got all of it out of her, and that she is probably in the clear. However, it is a rare form of cancer, with a name that I can't even pronounce, and it usually attacks the liver and lungs. They inspected her liver during the surgery and pronounced it okay. The oncologist says there is nothing left in her, so Tracy and Jeff are being cautiously optimistic, and plan to continue their normal routine while she recovers from the surgery. They do plan to go to MD Anderson in Houston for a second opinion - just to be sure.

Please pray for this couple - they have a two year old. It has been very difficult but they have made it through this difficult stage (so far) - through the strength of our Lord!

Definitely keep them in my prayers.

+1 to MD Anderson. I worked there for a few years. I can tell you they are an unbelievable place to be treated. If I EVER get cancer, that's the FIRST place i'm going. In fact, that's the #1 think patients there say. They wish they had bypassed everything they did before they got to MDA and gone straight there.

I used to handle their online training support so I got to see their cutting edge stuff before it was even deployed to most of the staff and all I can say is WOW. They got it goin on. Royalty and heads of state come from all over the world to go there and It ain't for the nachos in the food court. :) They get results!

Prayers said here as well.

It's a joy to be able to pray for another believer.

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

Prayer sent.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.
