I agree. I only have a Facebook account - for that same reason. Blogging is a self expression tool. Facebook/MySpace are community tools. Blogging is more of a solo thing. Even if you have lots of comments about your posts, they aren't really interacting with you in the same way as your Facebook/MySpace friends do.
