You really do get a plastic card!! really, I have one right here in my hand today. That was the longest 88 days I have ever experienced. But, oh my, what a relief that was to see that big ole' white envelope! I know that ya'll know all about that waiting and there are still some that have been here longer than that, all I can suggest is to just hang in there... it is coming!

My status on the DPS tracking site change on Tuesday 23 to "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active" and the "plastic" arrived today Friday 25, three days!

Thank ya'll for putting up with me here in the Waiting Room, I've enjoyed it, but I gotta be moving on.....

Thanks, I'm looking forward to it, too. I may have to put it off for a little while though, but I asked my daughter to go with me so she can be my photographer. I was just talking to her on the phone. She lives in Mineral Wells, and I told here that this part must be done or I'll be an outcast! She thinks I'm goofy, so then I had to explain what a wally walk was and that it is a must.
