Wally-Walk-R-US

Post by Fixintu »

I waited all day Saturday for the postman to come, checking about every hour. I had been waiting since Tuesday when DPS had told me they mailed my license. :waiting: 15:55 mailbox status check.......plastic in hand! :anamatedbanana 16:30 arrived at Wally World with daughter in tow to record this historic event. She of course thought I was completely INSANE for wanting her to take pics of me and my ritual but being that she's only 13, what does she know of what is TRULY important in this world :smilelol5: SO here I am actually shopping and carrying. (SA XD9 SC in a CrossBreed Super-Tuck Deluxe worn appendix carry)

And no, that is NOT my real head. I was surprised how comfortable I felt walking around in there and that may have something to do with me wearing my holster empty for the last two weeks to break it in. The whole trip was a success as nobody gave me the evil eye and I know my daughter was relieved to be out of there before one of her friends could spot her. "rlol"

Attending CHL Class $130,............Buying your pistol for carry $500,................Obtaining your Concealed Handgun License $140,............having your 13 year old daughter ask you what age she has to be to get hers?............PRICELESS!! Image

Congratulations Fixntu! A successful Wally-Walk is great. I am glad you cleared up that fact that you don't walk around with a black cloud on your shoulders.

With these photos it is always fun to try and guess where someone is carrying from their clothes. I am gonna take a guess that you carry IWB at about 1-2 o'clock, just in front of your cell phone. Am I right??

Take care and enjoy your new privileges and license to learn! :thumbs2:

This was at the beginning of my shopping and I had to convince the 13 year old to hurry up and get the pics done right away, I ended up spending $242 and some change! I'm sure some little guy at his computer in China was really pleased. :txflag:

I am going to have to say right above the belt buckle. You can slightly make out the round curvature of the mags base plate and how the shirt tugs forward like he tucked in the front of the shirt more than the rest of it. Over all unless you know what to look for I would say it would go unnoticed. Good job. :thumbs2:

Congratulations! :clapping:
Great wally walk...you would have thought someone would have wanted to know why you had that black bag on your head... "rlol"

I just received my plastic and wanted to go today, but my daughter lives in Mineral Wells... so, I will have to wait a couple of weeks before I can get down there. I have elected her to photograph the great event. She, also, thinks I've lost it.

Good job, Fixintu, and thanks for the pictures!

Great job and congrats!

Now, as long as you didn't get one of those purty 'concealment' purses in the background.... I say you are good to go!

Spot any BGs while you were there??

I'm not sure, but that guy in the first pic with his hat turned around backwards looks pretty suspicious to me!

Congrats! :thumbs2:
