Before they built the levee you could see Galveston across the bay from the shooting range now you have to get on top of the levee to see it, the levee is just a few hundred yards from the range.
Galveston is about 15 min. away depending on traffic., but be sure and ask me about the short cut. from the range on loop 197 South.
