My new favorite Bible verse

Post by KBCraig »

A co-worker started using this as his email signature.

Proverbs 18:6 (NIV)
A fool’s lips bring him strife, and his mouth invites a beating.

Could be used for the conflict resolution portion of CHL class. :biggrinjester:

Proverbs 18:2 should be on your list too!
"A fool does not delight in understanding, but only in revealing his own mind." (NAS)
Have you ever encountered anybody like that?

I like the following to me it's like God saying you can't cure stupid. ;-)

Though you grind a fool in a mortar,
grinding him like grain with a pestle,
you will not remove his folly from him.
Proverbs 27:22
If you listen to constructive criticism, you will be at home among the wise. Proverbs 15:31

One of my favorites is in my sig line.
“Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.”

I guess ill post my favorite:

1 Cor 15:55
"O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?"

This is quoted from Ho 13:14. It is here the triumphant shout of the apostle as he sees by faith the final victory over death.

Can't find it in my Bible either.
My Favorite is the 23rd Psalm. If I have to pick a verse from it it has to be the first.
"The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want." It says so much in so few words. I call it the shortest contract ever written. with the longest promise.
Liberty''s Blog
"Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom." John F. Kennedy
