New BeltMan Belt

Post by XDpackinBob »

WOW what a belt, ordered it a month ago and it arrived yesterday and man is it every thing I have been told, nice and thick and very stiff. I ordered the double layer bull hide, 1 1/2 inch wide, 7 hole, no stiffener, no Velcro, black w/brass rounded buckle. It holds the Super Tuck solid as a rock, much better than my old limp noodle 1 1/4 inch wal-mart belt :smilelol5: and the 1 1/2 inch belt fits the clips on the Super Tuck real nice so all play there has now been removed. Man this belt also measures almost a full 1/4 inch thick. Being I'm a large guy this belt just feels good, nice support.

They claim there turn around is 30 days and it is. July 7th was the 30 day mark on my order and I have it on right now, I ordered online and they have detailed instructions on how to measure for it and using their instructions this belt is the perfect length with plenty of holes in both directions even with the holster on. The E-mail reply sent also urged one to make sure they have measured right and gives a second chance to do it again before they cut leather (nice double check on there part, you don’t see this much anymore now days).

Thumbs Up :thumbs2: BeltMan.

I have worn my Beltman almost every day for a year and it shows no sign of wear.

I have been considering one myself, I think this may have sealed the deal. One question however, my wife is concerned that the belt is overly "shiny" and will not coordinate with my wardrobe  . What is the finish like on yours?

Mine is black bullhide. The finish is similar to my other leather dress belts. Your wife can be assured that it isn't "overly shiny."

Shhh... :bigear: www.thebeltman.net

The bullhide is nice but one of these days when I'm flush I'm going to order an exotic belt from him.

"rlol" Sorry about that, I should have posted the link....

The link to (The BeltMan) is also in the sticky post "A Great Holster Resource"

Also typing ( beltman ) in Google brings up their site.

It has a bit of a shine but it's a cross between a Simi-gloss and a matt on the face. The edges have more of a gloss than the face, from what I see on mine this is due to the work required to smooth and round over the edges (smoother texture). The inside is a natural color with the same gloss as the outside face.

They are no where near the shine of the duty belts made by Safariland. They look to be "patent leather" and they are almost a mirror finish.

Very Good Choice. My belt from Beltman is amazing! I had doubts how really good it was - but, I bought it anyway. Great Return on your investment!

Yup, good belts. I got myself a bullhide 1 1/2" with a stiffener, and have been wearing it daily for over a year. It carries my Hi-Power and extra mags beautifully. :thumbs2:

I've been wearing one of his horshide belts for over a year, and I am absolutley pleased with it. My only complaint is that I should not have ordered it with the velcro lining, but that's my fault. :thumbs2:
