Finally bought one

Post by longtooth »

All of the oldtimers here know that I have always had a home made range bucket instead of a bought bag. Had a bucket long before bags were marketed & never thought I needed anything else.

Well, I finally bought a range bag. uuuhh gear box. This is the only bought one I have ever had.
A couple of weeks ago the wife wanted to go looking for a chest of drawers & so we went looking at garage sales. I found this & immediately saw a range bag, gear box. It is a Husky tool carrier. $8.00. Got it & love it.

Good price.

Looks like it will hold as much (or more) than the bucket.

Now you'll have to figure out what to do with the empty bucket.

You are right Flint, it will hold way more than the bucket. I will never get rid of the bucket. To much heritage. :patriot: :txflag:

I do too Cody. There are a few times it was just a little small. The really good thing about it is, with the lid on it is a pretty good little seat.

Nice bag. Stuff inside should be more accessible.

I notice you switched from Lowe's to Home Depot. ;-)

Based on what you've got in the bag, you might want to start checking the garage sales for a wheel kit to keep from bustin something getting to the shooting bench. :thumbs2:

Nice solution. I may give it a try myself.
