U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service embarrassing oops

Post by seamusTX »

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service printed Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation stamps with a toll-free number on the back. Due to a typo (they would say that), it is actually the number of a service called "Intimate Connections," which is what you might think it is.

The correct number for ordering duck stamps is 1-800-STAMP24 (1-800-782-6724).

I've called for various tech support from major companies and instead of dialing the "888" I dialed "800" by mistake and have quite often got ahold of porn phone sites.

Life is interesting if nothing else.
