IDPA cardboard targets
Does anyone have a good local source for these? The best price I can find online is $60.00 per 100.

Re: IDPA cardboard targets
The best thing to do it get some that get thrown away after every IDPA match. Sometimes you can get some that only have a couple of holes. Free.
I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961

There is a match tomorrow night at DFW gun range. Hammer down at 6:30PM. You should come shoot with us and then you can pick some up.

The targets are available directly from the IDPA at $27.50 per box of 50; if ordering five or more boxes at one time, they're $25.50 per box. Paper practice targets are $33 per 100.

Yep; and they're one of a handful of official IDPA target suppliers in the U.S. Same $55 per 100 for the cardboard, BTW. You can just go to http://www.targetbarn.com/.KaiserB wrote:+1 on the Target Barn... they are good people

Re: IDPA cardboard targets
I always made my practice targets and dry fire drill targets out of the top of pizza boxes. Reduce the size you practice with and those at the match will look huge!
I don't eat pizza anymore, but then again I quit practicing IDPA as well.....lol.
Good luck.

And to think he'd gotten to the point he was going to start using a single slice of pizza as the practice target...CompVest wrote:All work and no play makes Jason a dull boy!jbirds1210 wrote:I always made my practice targets and dry fire drill targets out of the top of pizza boxes. Re: IDPA cardboard targets
My dryfire targets are made from Coke 24 pack boxes. The inside is the same shade of brown as official targets and I can get 1/2, 1/3 and 1/4 size targets from 1.
I buy boxes of official target by talking with the guy at one of the local IDPA clubs and when he gets ready to order for the club, I pay him for a box or 2.

Reasonable gun control is hitting your target with the first shot.
