Field Accident - Update, Good News

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Field Accident - Update, Good News

Post by quidni »

Thane called me at end-of-shift this morning with a prayer request - one of his buds had an in-the-field accident and had to be airlifted to Thomason Hospital here in El Paso. The injuries aren't life-threatening, but the extent of the injury wasn't yet known.

No names or details, but your prayers for his complete and quick recovery, and the general situation surrounding the incident, would be much appreciated.

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

Just spoke with Thane - the agent got off lightly (especially considering how far he fell) with a couple of torn ligaments, and a hairline fracture in his elbow. He's on crutches for a while, and the docs want to monitor (MRI & such) to make sure there's no hidden injury. But, he's already out of the hospital & the docs say no surgery is necessary.

Definitely a praise!
