pocket holster for the Ruger LCP
pocket holster for the Ruger LCP
Just got my hands on an LCP and was looking for a pocket holster for it. I like the closed muzzle type. Any recommendations anyone?
It is a cliche that most cliches are true, but then like most cliches, that cliche is untrue.
Re: pocket holster for the Ruger LCP
I like the reasonably priced FIST holsters that are custom made for almost any gun. They are stable, easy to draw from, and conceal very well. I found a little silicone spray slickened up the draw really nicely on mine.biggyin wrote:Just got my hands on an LCP and was looking for a pocket holster for it. I like the closed muzzle type. Another cheaper alternative is the DeSantis Nemesis. It is made for the LCP in versions both with and without the Crimson Trace laser grips.
I have both, and prefer the FIST. The extra bucks are, in my opinion, worth it.

Re: pocket holster for the Ruger LCP
I picked up a Nemesis for the LCP so i would have something to use while i looked for an alternative. The Nemesis works. For my old pocket pistol, i had/have a Don Hume front pocket holster. I will probably pick up one of these for the LCP. It will hold the gun better than the Nemesis and Don Hume makes a quality product at a resonable price. The fist will hold the gun better than a Nemesis as well. I have had one instance so far where the LCP slipped out of my pocket and the Nemesis while I was reclining in a lazy boy. When i stood up, my pocket felt too light and I found the LCP wedged in the chair. That will not happen with the other mentioned holsters.
Good luck on your search and let us know what you find for the LCP. -John

Check out our friend Robert Meco's holsters: (mecopocketholsters.com)
His holsters are beautifully made and he'll do custom colors and other requests.

Some of these are shown with seecamps, but he's also making LCPs with the same quality and care!

Another option is Robert Mika's pocket holsters:

I've got a couple for some J-frame S&Ws and a couple of his IWB holsters on order.

Sorry, don't have info, no model no. on it. I bought it locally at McBrides in Austin. Just took the pistol in and got the one that fit. I think it was for .25/.32.

Looks like a Bianchi 6D ATB Inside the Waistband holder (metal clip on the other side not shown in photo) http://www.bianchi-intl.com/product/Pro ... ModelID=6D" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or http://www.midwayusa.com/Search/Default ... -4_8-16-32" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Possibly the model designed to fit the Colt Mustang .380 http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.e ... mid=446112" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;RiverRat wrote:Bianchi
