Old style Charter Arms 3" Bulldog .44 Special

Post by Wizzard7 »

Hi,

For what seems like weeks, I have been scouring the internet for a concealment holster for this revolver. I can find ones for the "new" Charter Arms Bulldogs and Pups, but not the old 3" Stainless Steel one. The serial is in the 66xxx range, so it's an older model; it was given to me by a man who won it in a sales contest from Charter Arms.

I have ordered an IWB holster from Don Hume through a distributor (that I will leave unnamed), and all I get is that it is on back order. It's been 6 weeks already, they must have to locate the proper cow for the leather to use. :banghead:

Anyway, I digress. I have found some nylon holsters, which I may have to concede to and use. I guess I could saw off the barrel... no, bad idea... I kinda like the Bulldog, I have an even older Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Mag, 7-1/2" barrel, but it's a bit difficult to hide. Hard to believe but the Bulldog seems lighter than my Glock 26 when carried all day. And yes, you can find a million types of holsters for a Glock.

If anyone has an idea on where I may not have looked, please let me know...

Thanks

Hume takes 6-8 weeks to produce a holster that is not a stock item. Have you looked at High Noon? They have quite a few holsters in stock I don't know about your Bulldog though.
