Change out your fixtures for dusk/dawn setups. means never having to worry about whether they are on at night. just change the bulb when it burns out.ladromar wrote:I'm not leaving the "lights on" for my wife anymore.
I kinda was giving it some thought "hey if someone sees the outside lights on during the day; then that's a sign there's nobody home"![]()
But she insists!
Better yet, keep an eye out for the keychain remote fixtures and/or power strips. The strips usually come out for Christmas lights, at $10-20. If all you can find is the power strip, it's still a simple matter to add a couple of plug-in lights somewhere useful.grim-bob wrote:Change out your fixtures for dusk/dawn setups. means never having to worry about whether they are on at night. just change the bulb when it burns out.
