What's your favorite load?

For indoor I use a Ranier or Berry's plated 230gr RN over 5.1 gr. of WIN 231. Winchester or CCI primer. Brass is range pick up.

Out door it's a 200gr lead SWC 5.1 gr. of Win 231. Winchester or CCI primer.

I only load .45ACP and those loads shoot very well in my gun.

Why the difference indoor vs. outdoor? Is it a lead requirement? And if so, why not try to duplicate the same load with a lead vs. FMJ bullet?

Yeah it's the indoor no lead thing. Plated bullets are ok, but no lead. The two loads are very close in my gun. The lead is a bit smokier, but that's the only real diference.

I don't reload anymore (been over 10 years) but my favorite load in 45acp used to be a 200gr LSWC over 4.5 grs of Bullseye.

OK, so these are some of my favorites, among many other loads.
I found these to be accurate enough, and safe, in my rifles.
